Carnival Corporation Breaks Ground on State-of-the-Art Global Headquarters
Shovels in the ground and a new chapter underway!
Carnival Corporation officially broke ground on our next-generation global headquarters in Miami-Dade County, on May 1, marking a major milestone for the company and its long-term commitment to South Florida.
Local leaders, community partners and company executives gathered at the future site in the Waterford Business District to celebrate the moment – including the unveiling of our headquarters’ new address, 887 Carnival Place. To commemorate the occasion, Miami-Dade County issued a formal proclamation declaring May 1 as “Carnival Place Day.”
“Breaking ground at 887 Carnival Place feels less like a beginning and more like a natural next step in proudly carrying forward our 50+-year South Florida legacy as we create the foundation for our next chapter here,” said Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation. “This campus embodies the intersection of our commitment to the team members who propel us and the guests who inspire us.”
The new multi-building campus will serve as global home base for more than 2,000 Carnival Corporation team members in North America to come together, connect more, collaborate more and keep building tomorrow – guiding our future, together. The purpose-built space will reinforce Miami’s role as a hub for the cruise industry and the company’s ongoing investment in the community where it has been anchored for decades.
