Carnival Corporation Welcomes Mexican Port Delegation to Miami Ahead of Seatrade Cruise Global
Carnival Corporation welcomed a delegation from Mexico’s national port system administration, known as Administración del Sistema Portuario Nacional (ASIPONA), to Miami ahead of Seatrade Cruise Global. The delegation represented 15 Mexican port states. Mexico has been an important partner to Carnival Corporation for more than 50 years, and the visit reflected the value of continued engagement with leaders across the country’s port and maritime sector. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen dialogue and offer a firsthand look at the scale and scope of Carnival Corporation’s operations.
The day began aboard Carnival Sunrise at PortMiami, where delegates toured key areas including the bridge, recycling center and engine control room. The visit then continued at Carnival Corporation headquarters with a stop at the Fleet Operations Center and a working session on key operational topics.
The agenda highlighted key areas of shared interest, including port operations, environmental compliance, security and deployment, and reflected Carnival Corporation’s broader vision for ongoing collaboration with Mexico. It also underscored the importance of continued engagement with leaders across the country’s port and maritime sector.
