AIDAprima Returns to Service with New Enhancements
After two weeks in dry dock in Rotterdam, AIDAprima has quietly undergone a transformation that guests feel the moment they come aboard to set sail for the Norwegian fjords this summer.
Guests will notice refreshed public spaces, including the Theatrium and Beach Club, along with more than 150,000 square feet of new carpet made from responsibly recycled materials. Cabins have also been updated, creating a more comfortable onboard experience.
Behind the scenes, improvements are just as impactful. A new underwater hull coating helps reduce fuel consumption, supporting efforts to lower emissions during operations.
Behind this transformation is the work of the Carnival Maritime shipyard team, led by Captain Manuek Panneck, who ensured the project was completed in just 14 days. These efforts mark another important step in Carnival Corporation’s commitment to delivering extraordinary guest experiences while finding ways to preserve energy and reduce waste.
