Carnival Corporation Connects with Caribbean Leaders in Bermuda

How the Caribbean connects to the world took center stage at the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Air Connectivity Summit in Bermuda, where tourism and government leaders gathered to explore the future of air access and destination growth across the region.

Carnival Corporation was well represented at the summit, with Marie McKenzie, senior vice president, government & destination affairs; Karin Plettner Rutishauser, vice president, global ports and destinations strategy; Ken Taylor, manager, global maritime security – Americas; and Charlene Drakes, manager, stakeholder engagement, Caribbean, participating in discussions alongside regional leaders.

Throughout the event, the Carnival Corporation team engaged in conversations with tourism officials, port and marine services leaders, and senior government representatives, supporting our enduring relationships with the destinations we visit and continued opportunities for mutual growth and success.

The discussions underscored how collaboration across sectors supports a robust and marketable end-to-end guest journey and tourism resilience overall. From introductions with ministers and destination executives to informal conversations that spark future collaboration, the event reinforced that progress in connectivity isn’t just about routes and schedules. It’s about trusted partnerships, shared goals and people working together behind the scenes to move travel forward.
