Helen Deeble

Helen has served on the Boards of Directors of Carnival Corporation and Carnival plc since 2016. In this role, she serves on the Compensation Committees and Health, Environmental, Safety & Security Committees.
Helen’s qualifications to serve on the Boards include more than 30 years of strategic, financial and operational leadership experience in the retail, transport, logistics and travel sectors, including significant maritime experience gained through her service as a chief executive officer of P&O Ferries Division, a pan-European passenger shipping and logistics business.
Helen is also trained and qualified as a certified UK Chartered Accountant. She has served extensively on public company and advisory boards, including many in the maritime and shipping sector, which provides her with additional expertise in corporate governance, the maritime industry, sustainability, supply chain and regulatory matters.

Corporate & Charitable Leadership
Helen currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of CMO Group PLC, an online retailer of construction materials. She is also a Trustee of Leeds Castle Foundation, the charity aiming to protect the heritage assets and grounds for future generations; and the White Ensign Association, a charity focusing on financial career advice to navy personnel as they move from military to civilian life.
Helen has previously been a member of the Supervisory Board of the UK Chamber of Shipping, the trade body that champions and protects UK shipping; a Non-Executive Director of the Port of London Authority, the organization responsible for maritime safety and promoting commercial and leisure use of the tidal Thames; a Board member of the Standard P&I Club, an insurance mutual representing ship owners globally to manage insurance costs over the long term; and a Board member and member of the regulatory committee of Interferry, a trade organization for ferry operators globally.
Helen was awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in New Year’s Honours List 2013 for services to shipping.
