One Year Later, Celebration Key Keeps the Momentum Going
In the year since opening its shores to guests, Celebration Key has welcomed 2.4 million visitors and become an important part of Grand Bahama’s growth story. As Carnival Cruise Line’s newest exclusive destination and part of its Paradise Collection, Celebration Key has quickly built momentum while bringing new energy, visibility and opportunity to the island.
Alongside the beaches, pools and Bahamian culture that have drawn millions of visitors, the destination supports approximately 1,000 year-round jobs and creates opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs, with more than 80% of its food and retail operators locally owned.
The milestone also comes alongside the expansion of Carnival Corporation’s Less Left Over surplus meal donation program to The Bahamas, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting communities in the destinations it visits.
