Nelda J. Connors

Nelda has served on the Boards of Directors of Carnival Corporation and Carnival plc since 2024. In this role, she serves as a member of the Health, Environmental, Safety & Security Committees.
Nelda’s qualifications to serve on the Boards include over 25 years of senior executive experience in diverse and heavily regulated industries, as well as a comprehensive understanding of strategy, risk management, regulatory matters, health and safety, and complex operations across different markets.
Contributing to our Boards’ oversight of financial matters, Nelda brings to the role strong financial acumen and financial reporting skills developed through leadership roles at several public companies as well as her current role as Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Pine Grove Holdings, LLC, a privately held investment company. Prior to founding Pine Grove Holdings in 2011, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Atkore International. During that time, she led the 2010 initial public offering of Atkore International, a transaction which took the electrical and metals division of Tyco International plc public under the NYSE ticker ATKR.
Nelda also has extensive experience overseeing corporate governance, strategy and risk, human capital management, and regulatory considerations in a public company context gained through service on public company boards, including in key committee leadership roles.

Nelda is a member of the Board of Directors of three other public companies: ConocoPhillips, Otis Worldwide Corporation and Zebra Technologies Corporation. In addition, Nelda previously served on the Board of Directors of Baker Hughes Company, Boston Scientific Corporation, BorgWarner Inc., Enersys, Delphi Technologies PLC, CNH Industrial N.V., and Echo Global Logistics, Inc.
Nelda also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Michigan.
Nelda has been recognized by the Automotive Hall of Fame, Forbes 50 over 50 Investment, Most Influential Corporate Directors of Women, Inc., Savoy’s Power 300 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors, and Black Enterprise Top 75 Powerful Women in Business.

Nelda earned Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton.
