With AIDAbella ship number 9 starts from Palma / Arabian Gulf cruises with EXPO visit
Today, on November 6, 2021, AIDAbella will celebrate her re-start as the ninth AIDA ship. The first voyage leads from Palma de Mallorca in 21 days to Dubai. There, seven-day cruises through the Arabian Gulf are on the program in the 2021/2022 winter season. In addition to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat in Oman and, on some dates, Doha and Bahrain will also be called at.
A special highlight in this year's winter season in the Arabian Gulf is the world exhibition EXPO in Dubai. The guests of AIDAbella will have an extra-long stay in this fascinating metropolis. The ship will spend three days in Dubai. So there is enough time to explore the 438-hectare exhibition grounds with around 190 country pavilions.
With her comfortable cabins, diverse restaurants and generous outdoor areas on the sundeck with pools, bars and pool stage, AIDAbella offers her guests every conceivable comfort to wind down after an eventful excursion to the highlights on shore or the EXPO.

Together with its local partners, the cruise company has developed the region into one of the most popular cruise destinations for German vacationers during the winter months. In 2018, Carnival Corporation entered into a strategic partnership with Shamal Holding with the objective of developing Dubai into the region's premier center for maritime tourism. Part of the agreement between the two companies also included the construction of the Dubai Cruise Terminal, the future main hub for Carnival Corporation's passenger transfer and transit operations in the region, where the first official call with AIDAbella will take place on November 25, 2021.
