Princess Cruises’ New Majestic Princess Arrives in Shanghai to Begin Inaugural Season in China

Naming Ambassadors Yao Ming and Ye Li Officially Name Majestic Princess at Gala Celebration

Shanghai, China (July 10, 2017) – Princess Cruises®,today announced that Majestic Princess®, the first new internationalluxury cruise liner tailor-made for China, has arrived in Shanghai to begin hermaiden season. Yao Ming and Ye Li served as Naming Ambassadors and officiallynamed Majestic Princess during an inaugural ceremony. The ceremony was alsoattended by Wang Hong, the party secretary of Baoshan District and directorgeneral of Shanghai International Cruise Business Institute, Arnold Donald,president and CEO of Carnival Corporation & plc and Jan Swartz, grouppresident, Princess Cruises and Carnival Australia, Chinese travel agentpartners, national and local media and key opinions leaders.

PremierEntertainment:


The world premiere of "Fantastic Journey"presents the most technologically-advanced, immersive musical and cinematicexperience at sea produced exclusively for Chinese guests aboard MajesticPrincess. The ship also offers "Sing on the Sea" private karaoke, Water ColorFantasy (water fountain and multi-media light show), as well as Movies UnderThe Stars, the largest LED viewing screen on the Princess fleet whichimpressively entertains guests aboard.


In addition, as the Captain can look throughglass panels in the floor of the bridge, guests onboard Majestic Princess cannow share in that breathtaking view on SeaWalk®, a dramatic over-the-oceanglass walkway. The SeaWalk is the first of its kind at sea. At 60 feet long,cantilevered 128 feet above the waves and extending 28 feet beyond the edge ofthe ship, it affords thrilling vistas of the ever-changing seascape. Family Enrichment at Sea:


Debuting for China Camp Discovery is aninteractive family enrichment program developed in part by DiscoveryCommunications, California Science Center, and educators from MassachusettsInstitute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford University – designed to fostercreativity and initiate a love for learning that prepares children to betternavigate their education and development at early learning ages.


Silk Road Sea Route


Majestic Princess recently finished the "SilkRoad Sea Route," a 49-day journey from Rome to Shanghai. During the voyage theship visited a total of 22 ports including Athens, Dubai, Cochin, Singapore,Port Klang, Xiamen, Hong Kong, and Japan before arriving in Shanghai, her newhomeport in China. Majestic Princess will begin her first cruise from China onJuly 11, 2017, carrying 3,560 guests to a variety of cruise destinations.


In 2018, two 14-day Grand Asia voyagesailings between Shanghai and Singapore, will be available to guests throughoutthe world on Majestic Princess. These sailings will visit Japan, South Korea,Vietnam and Thailand, including spending more time ashore on the late nightcall in Hong Kong. The first voyage departs Shanghai on February 25, 2018, withthe second departing Singapore on March 11, 2018.


Princess Cruises will also call Australiahome from September 2018 to March 2019.
