Legendary Season Ahead for Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Legend has returned to Australiato ramp up the fun factor for local cruisers, sailing into Sydney today for herthird season of cruises from the city.
A favourite Down Under, Carnival Legend is sporting a range of newfeatures including the marine-themed Camp Ocean kids club, which replaces CampCarnival. Designed for children aged 2-11 years, Camp Ocean features more than200 educational and engaging activities, as well as three areas for kids ofdifferent ages to enjoy plenty of fun at sea.
The ship arrived in Australia early this morning at the end of a17-night South Pacific cruise from Hawaii, which departed Honolulu on September23 and visited ports in Tahiti, Fiji and New Caledonia before arriving inSydney. She joins sister ship CarnivalSpirit, which is homeported in Sydney year-round.
CarnivalLegend will remain in local waters until April 1, 2017, sailing on a variety ofitineraries ranging from 3-5 night short cruises to longer 7-12 night cruisesaround the South Pacific. Also on the ship's agenda in January 2017 is a10-night New Zealand voyage, which includes the ship's maiden call to four NewZealand ports.
