Travel Agents Can ‘Cruise, Explore & So Much More’ With Carnival’s New Wave Season Sweepstakes

MIAMI(January 4, 2016) -- Carnival is offering travel agents an opportunity to winone of three “Homeport Getaway” cruise/land vacation grand prize packages, aswell as 600 additional “instant win” prizes, as part of its “Cruise, Explore& So Much More” Wave Season sweepstakes, which begins today and runsthrough Feb. 12.

“Wewanted to kick off the new year by providing travel agents the opportunity towin a trip that combines a chance to explore our most popular homeportcitieswith all the fun and excitement of a Carnival cruise,” said Carnival’s VicePresident - Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez.“And since WaveSeason is such a busy time of the year for our valued partners, we added somefun daily 'instant win’ prizeopportunities, as well."

Withthe sweepstakes, travel agents can win one of three cruise/land vacation grandprizes from their choice of the following three homeports: Miami, Los Angeles(Long Beach), and New Orleans. The prize includes roundtrip airfare fortwo, a two-night hotel stay, $1,000 in spending money and balconyaccommodations on a three- to eight-day cruise departing from the associatedhomeport. Participants can also win one of 600 “instant prizes” whichinclude an invitation to the U.S. debut of the Carnival Vista in New York inNovember 2016, Visa gift cards, and various Carnival logo items and brandedmerchandise.

Toparticipate in the giveaway, travel agents simply visit the line’s travel agentInternet portal, GoCCL.com, and enter each FIT booking they make during thesweepstakes period. With each valid booking, agents are entered into a drawingfor one of the three grand prizes which will be announced on or around Feb. 19,2016. Each booking also qualifies agents to participate in an interactivescratch-off game where they may win one of the 600 “instant win” prizes.
