Inresponse to huge demand, for the summer 2016 season cruise company AIDA Cruiseshas added further sensational routes to its most popular destinations inNorthern Europe. The cruise will go to Norway, to St.Petersburg or Riga in the Baltic, and to Spitsbergen, Scotland and Iceland. OnJune 29, 2016, AIDAaura will leave Kiel for the most beautiful destinations inthe Arctic Circle. Stops on the 17-day cruise include Spitsbergen, the NorthCape, Iceland and the Shetland Islands. Owing to popular demand, the 14-daycruise “Norway with Lofoten Islands and North Cape” will additionally beoffered, starting on July 16, 2016.

Theabsolute highlight of the Northern Europe season will start on July 30, 2016,when it will be “anchors aweigh” for the guests of AIDAaura, as they head outon a new and fascinating voyage to Greenland. This will be the very first time thatit is possible to visit the world’s biggest island with AIDA without having totake a plane. The 21-day round trip starts in Kiel, visiting Iceland andGreenland, before returning to the home port.
