Comedian Robbie Printz Chosen Princess Cruises’ 2016 Entertainer of the Year
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (March 9, 2017) —Guests aboard RubyPrincessselected comedian Robbie Printz, as PrincessCruises'"2016 Entertainer of the Year." Four finalists were selected from the hundredsof talented performers—comedians,magicians, vocalists, tribute bands and novelty performers—which entertain guests on PrincessCruises' stages each year. These top artists performed to enthusiasticaudiences during the cruise, these guests then cast their ballot to select thewinner. This year's competition brought a record-breaking number of guests outto vote, a nod to the level of talent among the finalists.
Guests aboard the February 25 Ruby Princesscruise to Mexico enjoyed live performances from each finalist. Thefinalists were determined by the Princess Cruises entertainment departmentbased on guest surveys and onboard audience response. Along with Printz, thefinalists included Vocalist Cheaza Figueroa, Musician John Bressler, andMusician Steve Larkins. Printz was announced as the winner on the final nightof the cruise at a celebratory event in Princess' signature venue, The Piazza.
Printz delivers a dynamic performance,serving as a reminder of childhood wonders and adulthood absurdities, deliveredwith high energy and a fast pace that keeps audiences of all ages laughing fromstart to finish. Printz has been seen on such networks as Comedy Central, NBC,MTV, and A&E.

This is the line's sixth annual "Entertainerof the Year"competition which was established to recognize the high caliber and diversityof guest entertainers that perform on each Princess cruise. Previous Entertainerof the Year winners, Nathan Foley, Ben Seidman, Zach Winningham, Tony Tillmanand Carlos Oscar continue to perform year round on Princess and remain amongthe top-rated entertainers throughout the fleet.
As the new holder of the line's "Entertainerof the Year" title, Printz also received a cash prize of $5,000.
