Carnival to Offer More Than 75 Ship Inspections and Seminar at Sea Opportunities to Travel Agents as Part of 2018 ‘Travel Agents Rock’ Program

MIAMI (Feb. 8, 2018) – Carnival Cruise Linehas announced it is offering travel agents the opportunity to participate inmore than 75 ship inspections and Seminar at Sea events in 2018 as part of theline's popular "Travel Agents Rock" program. Registration is now open on Carnival Passport, the line's comprehensive training portalthat houses all of Carnival's educational activities in one easy-to-access areawithin GoCCL.com, the line's travel agent web site.


"Our Seminar atSea and ship inspections programs continually prove to be some of the mosteffective ways for agents to learn about and sell our brand with greatersuccess – and they're great fun as well," said Carnival's Senior Vice Presidentof Sales & Trade Marketing, Adolfo Perez. "These events encompass much morethan a simple visit and presentation. Our shipboard and sales teams arepassionate about delivering an experience that inspire and motivate agents longafter they've left the ship."


With Carnival's ship inspection program,travel agents may familiarize themselves with 24 Carnival ships in 14 portsduring a guided tour, which includes an opportunity to see a variety ofstaterooms in addition to public spaces. Agents are also hosted for lunch bylocal sales team members.


Carnival's Seminar at Sea program provides agents withan opportunity toexperience the Carnival product first-hand on 12 ships departing from sevenports while learning about a variety of topics such asproduct enhancements and sales and marketing techniques. Agents may select fromvarious ships and sailings at a reduced rate. Each Seminar at Sea is hosted bya member of Carnival's sales team.
