AIDA stages second world cruise – around South Africa with AIDAaura
41 ports in 20countries; 117-day dream cruise bookable from July 21, 2017
Tomorrow, Friday, July 21, 2017, at 10:00a.m. is when bookings open for AIDA's second world cruise as part of its newAIDA Selection program. In fall 2018 AIDAaura will follow AIDAcara's firstcruise around the world which sets sail on October 17, 2017.
On October 8, 2018, the cry of "cast off!"will then go up for a second time when this great adventure gets underway fromHamburg. Sailing until February 2, 2019, AIDAaura's route over 117 days willtake her to 41 ports in 20 countries on four continents. Many of thedestinations will be visited for the first time in AIDA's history. Theseinclude South Africa, Namibia, Melbourne, Tasmania and the South Seasarchipelago of Fiji, Samoa and New Caledonia.
From Hamburg, AIDAaura will set a course forSouth America. Dream destinations such as Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires(Argentina) and Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego) will be just a few of the stopsbefore AIDAaura sails from Santiago de Chile (Chile) for Easter Island. Thecruise continues on to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Samoa and Fiji in the South Seasparadise of French Polynesia. Sydney, Tasmania, Perth (Australia), Madagascar,South Africa and Namibia are sure to delight all of our explorers on board.
Marveling at the biggest waterfalls on earth,waddling with penguins, being tickled on the nose by tropical fishes, bathingin a turquoise ocean off uninhabited islands, watching lions in Kruger NationalPark, racing across the Garden Route in South Africa or the Great Ocean Road inAustralia – just a couple of the dreams that will come true on this cruise.
