AIDA New Year’s Raffle: Donations for SOS Children’s Villages, Mercy Ships and Fly & Help

AIDA guestssupport social projects by buying a raffle ticket

The annual NewYear's Raffle will once again be taking place aboard all ships of the AIDAfleet this year. The proceeds from the raffle will once again go to a number ofdifferent projects.

For more than tenyears AIDA Cruises has already been supporting the work of SOS Children'sVillage with its worldwide projects for disadvantaged children. Thanks to ourguests, it has been possible to support various SOS Children's Village measuresin Germany, Africa and the Philippines with donations of over one millioneuros.

A part of theproceeds will also benefit Mercy Ships. Free operations and dental treatment areprovided to patients with urgent medical needs aboard the world's biggesthospital ship, the "Africa Mercy." AIDA employees are also on board the "AfricaMercy," helping to save human lives. AIDA Cruises provides a permanent engineeraboard this ship and this year it has already donated 100,000 euros to helpMercy Ships' work.

The Reiner MeutschFoundation Fly & Help is building schools in the Philippines and in theCaribbean region which suffered devastating hurricane damage. Education ischildren's ticket to a better life. Therefore, a part of the revenue goes tothis organization.
