Carnival Cruise Line To Now Pay Travel Agents Commission On Future Cruise Credits
MIAMI(July 10, 2017) – Carnival Cruise Line has announced it will now pay travelagents commission on Future Cruise Credits applied to new bookings startingJuly 10, 2017. The new commission structure, which goes into effect today,calculates commission based on the value of the cruise prior to the applicationof the Future Cruise Credit. Previously, the line calculated commission onthese bookings after a Future Cruise Credit was applied. The newcommission program adds incremental earning opportunities for the line's valuedtravel agent partners.
"Ourteam is always listening and looking for ways to offer the best sales andservice support we can to travel agents and this commission enhancement is areflection of that goal," said Carnival's Vice President of Sales & TradeMarketing Adolfo Perez. "We value the hard work travel agents put into bookingtheir clients, which is why we've increased the commission for these types ofbookings."
