Costa Cruises Presents Two Brand New Itineraries For Summer 2017 Both Bound For The Mediterranean’s Best Beaches
The Italian company is launching two exclusive new Mediterraneancruise routes next summer: one is aweek-long vacation on the Costa neoClassica, departing Bari and heading for thesplendid beaches of the Greek islands; the other is also a 7-day cruise, thistime on the Costa neoRiviera and taking guests to Sardinia, the BalearicIslands and Spain.
Genoa – September 5, 2016 – CostaCruises has announcedthe introduction in summer 2017 of two exclusiveand innovative cruises intended for those who love the seaside and sun of the Mediterranean.
Thefirst is a one-week cruise on the CostaneoClassica (53,000 gross tonnage and 1680 total guests), running from May13 through September 30, 2017, departing Saturdays from Bari and taking guests on a voyageof discovery to the finest Greek islands. Featuring on the itinerary are the iconicislands of Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Santorini, with a long port call untilmidnight, and – last but not least – Mykonos, where the ship will stayovernight allowing cruisers to make the most of the beaches and the localnightlife.
Theother innovation is a 7-day cruise on the CostaneoRiviera (48,200 gross tonnage and 1727 total guests), sailing from June4 through September 24, 2017, departing Savona every Sunday and heading forsome of the most popular beachdestinations in the Western Mediterranean. This cruise will port in a different placeeach day: first call Porto Torres, thegateway to the magnificent beaches of north-west Sardinia, followed by themarvelous Balearic Islands, with stopovers in Minorca, Ibiza – where the shipwill stay overnight, giving people the chance to go on a tour to Formentera - andPalma de Mallorca; the last port of call before returning to Savona will be Tarragona/Barcelona,with another long stopover.
These two itineraries are a brandnew innovation, exclusive to Costa. They are further confirmation of the Italian company'sdetermination to continuously innovate and provide its guests with trulymemorable vacations offering Italian excellence. The two new routes have been added to Costa's vastrange of cruises scheduled for summer next year and are already available forbooking.
The CostaneoClassica has a total of 654 cabins, including 10 balcony suites. The Costa neoRiviera has 624 cabins, including94 suites, 4 panoramic suites with private balconies and 6 grand suites withprivate balconies. On board there areexclusive restaurants and bars, offering products and brands representing theepitome of Italian excellence, a wellness center, theater, swimming pools,casino, disco, shopping center, kids' and teens' clubs and lots of otherentertainment amenities.
