AIDA launches 2018 cruise season in Rostock

OnApril 26, 2018, AIDAdiva will launch this year's AIDA season on the banks ofthe Warnow. Two AIDA ships are due to dock here a total of 43 times.

With AIDAdiva's arrival onThursday, April 26, 2018, AIDA Cruises will open its 2018 cruise season in Rostock.AIDAdiva spent the winter season in the Caribbean and will reach her home basefor the coming summer in the early morning after crossing the Atlantic via theCanaries. Her departure tomorrow from Warnemünde will be broadcast live from5.45 p.m. on AIDA's Facebook page.

To start off, AIDAdiva will be offering three 4-daytaster cruises to Visby and Stockholm before she begins her regular 10-daycruises to the gems of the Baltic. The highlight of the cruise will be atwo-day stay in St. Petersburg. Guests will have the opportunity to eitherattend an evening concert by the Hermitage Orchestra being staged exclusivelyfor AIDA or, if they wish, to explore the Russian capital. Moscow's countlesssights include the Kremlin, the Old Town, the Arbat shopping boulevard, St.Basil's Cathedral, the Bolshoi Theater and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior,to name but a few.

The AIDA highlights in Warnemünde this year includethe arrivals between August 9–12, 2018, for the Hanse Sail – the world'sbiggest gathering of sailing and traditional ships – and the first RostockCruise Festival from September 14–16, 2018. AIDA will be presenting itself bothon water and on land for the Rostock Cruise Festival. Apart from AIDAdiva, AIDAmar will also bebringing many vacationers to Warnemünde. She will visit for the first time thisyear Warnemünde on Saturday, May 5, 2018, spending the summer sailing one-weekcruises in the Baltic. Her seven-day round trips in the Baltic will be takingin destinations such as Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm.
