P&O Launches All Black Party For Kiwi Cruisers

P&O Cruises haslaunched an exclusive party concept for Kiwis during Pacific Pearl’s five-monthNew Zealand deployment.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Guests cruising onPacific Pearl from Auckland are invited to pack black for Nero, the P&O AllBlack Party, with All Blacks gear expected to be a popular outfit choice duringthe quintessential Kiwi deck party.

An extension andreversal of the cruise line’s existing Bianco, the P&O White Party, Nerohas been created especially for New Zealand guests and will see the main decktransformed into a black out at sea with a themed media wall, face painting,bunting and live bands and a DJ playing great party music including some NewZealand hits.

P&O Cruises Headof Entertainment Brett Annable said Nero was sure to be a cruise highlight forKiwi holidaymakers.

“Pacific Pearl is NewZealand’s ship so we wanted to create a party that was as distinctly Kiwi asthe All Blacks. With Nero featuring as the sailaway party of a cruise, PacificPearl’s Auckland sailaways are set to take on a fun, new shade,” Mr Annablesaid.

The addition of the new Nero party ispart of a revamp of entertainment offerings, which has seen P&O rolling outnew party concepts across its expanded five-ship fleet including Bianco, theP&O White Party, a new Gatsby-themed cocktail evening, a Vegas pool partyand Back to School party.


Nero will feature as a sailaway event on all cruises of four nights or more andas an afternoon deck party on the final sea day of cruises of three nights orless. The Bianco party and Gatsby cocktail evening will continue to be offeredon all cruises of two nights or more.
