Boarding pass in 30 seconds: AIDA Cruises launches Express Check-in

Guests of AIDA Cruises can now check-in on board evenfaster and more conveniently. As the first cruise line in Germany, the company hasintroduced a self check-in service. The new Express Check-in premiered onAIDAstella and will be extended to further ships, such as AIDAprima, in thefuture. <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Thanks to AIDA Cruises, the modern technology knownfrom airports will now be found at cruise terminals as well. In addition to theregular check-in counters, six mobile kiosks will be offered for the ExpressCheck-in from now on. Within just 30 seconds, AIDA guests scan their identificationdocuments and, after a few clicks, receive their boarding passes. Should guestschoose not to use their ID photos for the boarding pass, they can have a newphoto taken right there at the kiosk. Competent crew members are there at themachines at all times to help if guests have questions or need assistance.

To use the Express Check-in, all guests need to do isregister their preferred mode of payment for the shipboard account statement inthe travel portal MyAIDA prior to the cruise.
