Holland America Line Promotes Nate Burdulis to Newly Created Role of Director, Strategic Sales Planning and Administration
Seattle,Wash., July 9, 2015 — Holland America Line haspromoted Nate Burdulis to the position of director, strategic sales planningand administration. In this newly created role he will lead a team within thesales department that will provide on-demand reporting, sales analytics andstrategic interaction with top accounts. Burdulis also will assist indeveloping and executing trade distribution programs and initiatives designedto further expand the premium line’s relationships with travelprofessionals.
He will report to Eva Jenner, Holland America Line’s vice president, NorthAmerica sales.
“Nate’s strong knowledge of our business, distribution channel structure andprocesses will be a valuable asset to the sales team,” said Jenner. “His priorexperience in marketing and revenue management gives him a unique set of skillsto enhance and further develop the strong relationship Holland America Line haswith our travel partners.Nate will play an integral role in expanding ourPartnerSHIPS program.”
With PartnerSHIPS, all of Holland America Line’s trade programs and servicesare rolled into a single platform, making it easier for travel professionals tohave full access to an at-a-glance menu of resources.
Burdulis’ most recent position with Holland America Line was manager, pricingand demand, where he was responsible for all marketing and pricing initiativesfor a variety of cruise programs. He also developed educational trainingmaterials and sales tools, conducted new product training and ensured effectiveexecution of marketing initiatives.
Prior to that, he was a revenue management analyst and marketing specialist atHolland America Line. Burdulis holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Edward R.Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University.
