John P. McNulty, Member of Carnival Corporation & plc's Boards of Directors, Passes Away in Naples, Fla.
MIAMI, Nov. 22, 2005 /PRNewswire/ -- John P. McNulty, a valued and respectedmember of the boards of directors of Carnival Corporation & plc(NYSE: CCL; LSE) (NYSE: CUK), passed away suddenly on November 16, 2005, inNaples, Fla.
Mr. McNulty joined Carnival Corporation & plc's boards of directors inJune 2003 and also served as a member of the company's compensation committee.
After earning his M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania's WhartonSchool of Business, Mr. McNulty embarked on a distinguished 22-year career atGoldman Sachs, eventually heading up the firm's investment management divisionand significantly expanding the company's global investment managementbusiness. He retired from Goldman Sachs in 2001 but continued to serve assenior director at the firm.

He was a valued member of our boards ofdirectors and his experience, wisdom and friendship will be missed by everyonein the Carnival organization," said Micky Arison, chairman and CEO of CarnivalCorporation & plc.
