Princess Cruises to Name Next Ship Sky Princess

Sky Princess Scheduled to Debut in the Mediterranean in October 2019


SANTACLARITA, Calif. (November 30, 2017) –Princess Cruises announced today its fourthRoyal-class ship will be named Sky Princess. Sister ship to Royal Princess, Regal Princess andMajestic Princess, Sky Princess is scheduled to debut in October 2019 on aseries of Mediterranean voyages.

The143,700 ton, 3,660-passenger vessel will feature an evolution of the successfuldesign platform used for previous Royal-class ships. Sky Princess willinclude signature elements that have become synonymous with the brand'sbest-in-class guest experience, and bring together the best features found onher Royal-class sister ships – Royal Princess, Regal Princess and MajesticPrincess. Highlights will include a soaring central Piazza-style atrium, Princess Live!entertainment venue, the relaxing adults-only Sanctuary, Camp Discovery youthand teen centers, and a wide variety of guest-favorite dining venues includingthe Salty Dog Grill, Alfredo's Pizzeria, Vines Wine Bar, Chef's Table Lumiere,and World Fresh Marketplace, with updated décor and design throughout the ship. Sky Princess will also feature the outdoor "MoviesUnder the Stars" theater, and 80 percent of all staterooms will have balconies.Finally, some exciting new innovations which will enhance the guest experienceeven further will be revealed in the coming months.

The inauguralMediterranean deployment of Sky Princess features 10 cruise departureson eight unique itineraries. First up, is aseven-day Mediterranean & Adriatic cruise from Athens (Piraeus) toBarcelona departing on October 20, 2019. This voyage is combinable with aseven-day Mediterranean Barcelona to Rome (Civitavecchia) voyage for a 14-dayInaugural Western Mediterranean & Adriatic Medley from Athens to Rome.

Inaddition, Sky Princess will sail on a new seven-day Mediterranean roundtripRome voyage, combinable with a seven-day Mediterranean Barcelona to Rome for a14-day Western Mediterranean Medley voyage calling in some of the most iconicports in the Mediterranean Sea.

Theculmination of Sky Princess' inaugural Mediterranean season will be a 14-daySpanish Passage from Barcelona to Ft. Lauderdale, combinable with the seven-dayMediterranean and/or the seven-day Mediterranean roundtrip Rome voyages for anepic 21-day or 28-day Grand Adventure across the Mediterranean Sea and AtlanticOcean.

Princess guests holdingElite status in the line's Captain's Circle loyalty program will have theopportunity to secure their booking a day earlier than the general public, onDecember 13, 2017. A reduced deposit of 10 percent is available for bookingsmade by August 31, 2018.

The fifth Royal-class vessel is alsocurrently under construction at Fincantieri and will debut in 2020.
