Cruise Guide Award: AIDAprima honored as best ship for families

The annual CruiseGuide Awards were presented in Hamburg on November 10, 2017, during the CruiseCongress in Hamburg. The winner's trophy in the "Family-Friendliness" categoryonce again went to AIDAprima.

In explaining itsdecision, the judging panel said: "The onboard family restaurant, the waterlandscapes in the Four Elements that are suitable for the whole family, as wellas the outdoor pool, the rope course, the Lazy River, and the ice-rink inwinter all make up a persuasive package that can stand up to any internationalcomparison."

It was noted that,just like her sister ship AIDAperla, AIDAprima has a winning range of optionsduring the vacations – from multimedia workshops with the robot, Nao, tochoreography and singing coaching or soccer camps. On the feast days, the kidsare treated to a program that they can marvel at and join in. On Christmas Eve,for instance, Father Christmas comes aboard the ship with his angels, withgifts for all the children. Another great highlight is the sleepover party atChristmas and on New Year's Eve at the Kids Club.
