Carnival Horizon's 2018 Inaugural Schedule to Include Series of Four-Day Cruises from New York to Bermuda
Voyages Complement Previously AnnouncedSchedule of Mediterranean Cruises from Barcelona, Caribbean Sailings from NewYork and Miami
MIAMI (February 8, 2017) – CarnivalCruise Line has announced that the new Carnival Horizon will offer a series offour-day Bermuda cruises from New York in spring and summer 2018, part of theship's inaugural season that includes previously announced voyages to Europefrom Barcelona and the Caribbean from New York and Miami.
The four-day "long weekend" cruises willdepart Thursdays and feature a full-day visit to Bermuda where guests can relaxon the island's legendary pink beaches, enjoy snorkeling, kayaking and otherwater sports, and visit historical landmarks such as Royal Naval Dockyard andGibb's Hill Lighthouse, the oldest cast iron lighthouse in the WesternHemisphere. Five four-day Bermuda cruises will be offered, departing May24, June 21, July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 13, 2018.
Including the five Bermuda sailingsaboard Carnival Horizon, Carnival Cruise Line will offer 18 different voyagesto the island in 2017-18 departing from five convenient East Coast homeports,including Baltimore, Charleston, New York, Port Canaveral and FortLauderdale.

Port-IntensiveItineraries from Barcelona, New York and Miami
Carnival Horizon is set to debut April2, 2018, with a 13-day Mediterranean voyage from Barcelona - the first of fourround-trip departures from this Spanish port. Other sailings fromBarcelona include two seven-day cruises departing April 15 and 22, 2018, and a10-day voyage departing April 29, 2018.
Carnival Horizon will then reposition tothe U.S. with a 14-day trans-Atlantic crossing from Barcelona to New York May9-23, 2018. Carnival Horizon's 2018 schedule from New York includes12 eight-day cruises operating round-trip from the Big Apple May to Sept. 2018and visiting Amber Cove (Dominican Republic), San Juan, and Grand Turk.Departure dates include May 28, June 5, 13 and 25, July 3, 11, 23 and 31, Aug.8, 20 and 28, and Sept. 5, 2018.
Carnival Horizon will then shift toMiami and kick off a year-round schedule of six- and eight-day Caribbeancruises beginning Sept. 22, 2018. The ship will also offer a special two-daycruise to Nassau from Miami Sept. 20-22, 2018.
ExcitingOnboard Innovations
Currently underconstruction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera,Italy, Carnival Horizon will offer many of the hugely popular indoor andoutdoor dining, bar, entertainment and activity options that debuted onCarnival Vista, currently the line's newest ship.
Among those is agroundbreaking bike-ride-in-the-sky attraction called SkyRide, an IMAX Theatreand a massive WaterWorks aqua park featuring a water tube slide calledKaleid-o-slide. A wide range of accommodations will also be offered,including spa cabins with exclusive privileges at the luxurious Cloud 9 Spa,extra-roomy staterooms in Family Harbor, and tropical-inspired Havanastaterooms and suites with exclusive daytime access to a Cuban-themed bar andpool.
A variety of uniquedining and bar concepts and spectacular outdoor spaces found only on CarnivalHorizon will be announced in the near future.
