AIDA offers service for easier visa applications

New cooperation between cruisecompany and CIBT VisumCentrale<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Starting now, the cruise company AIDA Cruises isoffering its guests a new service that will assist them with visa formalities.To this end, AIDA is teaming up with the market leader for international visasand passports, CIBT VisumCentrale. Guests that have booked an AIDA cruisereceive attractive special conditions on the CIBT portal set up for thispurpose.

Particularly with long-distance destinations on AIDAships, such as India and Cambodia, a visa is unavoidable for travelers. Cruisesto the USA also often require special provisions for entering the country. AIDAguests can obtain general information on visa requirements for all countries onCIBT’s visa portal or by phone or email. For a fee, they can also let theexperts at CIBT clarify all formalities with consulates and embassies. Afterissuance by the government agencies, the visas are collected and sent to theguest with secure shipping. In addition to this service, CIBT also offersguidance for filling out online visa applications, e.g. ESTA for trips to theUnited States, on the Internet portal.

To ensure that guests receive their visas in time, itis recommended that they apply for them about 8 to, at the latest, 4 weeksbefore the start of the cruise. Naturally, there is an express service forurgent cases. As CIBT has branches in 14 different countries, this service isavailable to guests from outside of Germany as well. It is offered in Germanand English.
