Princess Cruises’ Travelling Film Festival Trilogy

PrincessCruises has announced it will bring award-winning film to the seas again thisyear, as it celebrates the third Travelling Film Festival at Sea on Sun Princess inNovember.

Lovers ofcinema will enjoy a selection of high calibre film screenings curated by SydneyFilm Festival Director Nashen Moodley and hosted by acclaimed film criticRichard Kuipers during the ship's six-night roundtrip cruise from Sydney toTasmania (November 5-11).

Featuringtop hits of Sydney Film Festival, highlights will include Cannes-winning films CaptainFantastic and Mustang, the off-beat romantic comedy Maggie's Planstarring Ethan Hawke, Julianne Moore and Greta Gerwig, and Elvis and Nixonstarring Kevin Spacey and Michael Shannon.

Alsoscreening: will be Love & Friendship, Whit Stillman's adaptation ofJane Austen's comical early novella ‘Lady Susan' – starring Kate Beckinsale,Chloë Sevigny, Australian actor Xavier Samuel and Stephen Fry, and TerenceDavies' Sunset Song, an adaptation of Lewis Grassic Gibbons' Scottishliterary classic of the same name, starring English model turned actressAgyness Deyn.

The floatingfestival is unique to Princess Cruises and a key part of the cruise line'songoing partnership with Sydney Film Festival.

RichardKuipers said he was thrilled to be hosting Sydney Film Festival's TravellingFilm Festival at Sea.

The cruisewill also feature a full schedule of activities highlighting the best of SydneyFilm Festival, including thought-provoking Q&As with guest speakers,cocktail parties and opportunities to mingle with other movie addicts.

Fares forthe Travelling Film Festival cruise start from $899* per person twin share. Thecruise will depart Sydney on November 5, 2017, with guests visiting Burnie andhistoric Port Arthur and enjoying an overnight stay in Hobart before returningto Sydney.
