AIDA and Bild am Sonntag seek godparent family for AIDAnova

AIDA Cruises and the Bild am Sonntag newspaper have joinedforces to find a ‘godparent family' as for the new ship, AIDAnova. Devoted AIDAfans, as well as families who have long dreamed of taking a cruise vacation,are encouraged to apply.

The new ship in the AIDA fleet will be christened on August31, 2018, at a dazzling event at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg. The AIDA OpenAir with a spectacular christening show and a live concert by star DJ DavidGuetta is one of the biggest events in northern Germany.

Families consisting of two to at most five people can apply.Apart from taking over the role of godparents, the christening family will wina seven-day cruise aboard AIDAnova. Applications can be made from Sunday, July15, 2018, until Sunday, July 22, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. All entry details areavailable in the Bild am Sonntag and at # A panelof judges will pick the lucky winning family who will christen AIDAnova onAugust 31, 2018.

AIDAnova is a real paradise for families. While the kids canclamber around the tree-tops in the ropes course and race around on the giantwater slides over three decks, their parents can enjoy the laid-back feel ofthe Caribbean, relaxing beneath palm trees in the Beach Club next door. There'salso plenty of fun to be had at the water playground and the large mini-golfcourse. The whole family can enjoy a meal together at the Fuego familyrestaurant which offers a kids' buffet and a baby bistro. Landside, AIDA offersfamily-friends excursions, and even excursions specifically for teenagers. Interms of accommodation, the Deluxe Veranda staterooms, available for the firsttime, ensure that families have plenty of space.
