COSTA CRUISES IN SANREMO:

PLANET FUNK ON THE SEA STAGE FOR THE GRAND FINALE

On Saturday 15 February the Italian band will perform on Costa Toscana in an unprecedented show, involving guests on board, the Sanremo audience and viewers at home in a big party.

Genoa, 28 January 2025 – Costa Cruises is confirmed as a partner of the Sanremo Festival for the fourth consecutive year and, this year, Costa Toscana will be the extraordinary floating stage in the Bay of Sanremo.

On the occasion of the final, Saturday 15 February, the stage on the sea of the most important musical event of the year will be in live connection with the Ariston Theater. Costa Toscana, moored in front of Sanremo, will be transformed into a spectacular Club, hosting the performance of Planet Funk. The Italian band, which recently celebrated 25 years of career, will perform in one of the most characteristic spaces of the Costa Toscana, an incredible stage spread over three floors that will offer a live show by one of the most distinctive bands of the international electro-dance scene.

From 8 to 15 February, Costa Cruises will host a different music festival on board the Music Cruise every day, with a schedule full of unique initiatives such as the Grand Opening "Waves of Music", Costa's Sea Destination created specifically for Sanremo, a musical fireworks show and an evocative light show on the sea, which will illuminate the Bay of Sanremo on 9 February.

The cruise will offer two great live events, exclusively for guests on board: the engaging "Deejay Time" by Radio Deejay, on the opening night of February 9, and the great return of Gigi D'Agostino, with an exclusive DJ set on Valentine's Day.

The Music Cruise, a cruise-event that will cross the most iconic locations in the Mediterranean (in addition to Sanremo it will touch Barcelona, Marseille and Rome / Civitavecchia) offers a rich schedule. In addition to the evening shows and performances, guests will be able to enjoy a wide range of proposals to experience every day: sports activities, workshops, sparkling aperitifs and unforgettable parties, all with a musical theme, created in collaboration with important Italian and international partners.

During the entire cruise, Costa Toscana guests will also have the opportunity to go ashore, independently or with organized excursions, to discover the beauties of the destinations visited, including the city of Sanremo and its territory.
