AIDA starts into its 2017/2018 Caribbean season

AIDAluna arrived in La Romana in the Dominican Republic onNovember 4, 2017, ringing in this year's Caribbean season. AIDAdiva and AIDAmarwill follow in the coming days, and will also set sail from La Romana,Bridgetown, Montego Bay respectively Santo Domingo on exciting 14-day cruisesduring the period from November 2017 to March 2018.

For the guests aboard AIDAluna, their trip will firstly takethem from La Romana to Ocho Rios in Jamaica, where it is worth paying a visitto Dunn's River Falls. The water here crashes down countless rock cascades tothe turquoise Caribbean Sea. In Cozumel, guests can immerse themselves in thelost cultures of the Maya, and visit Chichén Itzá, once the capital of theMayan kingdom. The cruise then continues on to Belize.

The clear, warm water of Grand Cayman offers the idealconditions for every kind of water sport. Those who want to can get a close uplook at stingrays or go head to head with wahoo, mahi mahi fish and tuna. "MoBay" – as Jamaica's second-largest city, Montego Bay, is also known – extendsalong a bay with gorgeous sandy beaches such as Doctor's Cave, Cornwall Beachund White Sands.

The cruise goes on to Samana in the Dominican Republic. Thefollowing day, the ship sails to St. Kitts. Here guests can look forward to aspecial experience: a ride on a double-decker bus to the historic scenicrailway. The next stop is St. John's, the capital of the island state ofAntigua and Barbuda. AIDAluna's Caribbean cruise comes to a close after 14 dayson her return to La Romana.
