Costa Cruises, For The Third Consecutive Year, Ranks Among The Best Of Italy’s Top Employers
The Italian company garners theimportant “Top Employers Italia 2016” certification, ranking it among Italy’sbest companies thanks to its excellent HR management standards.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
Genoa, 25 February2016 – Costa Cruises, for the third year in a row, is among the bestItalian companies in terms of employee work conditions, achieving theprestigious “Top Employers 2016” certification from the Top EmployersInstitute.
The Top Employerscertification is assigned every year based on a thorough analysis carried outby the Top Employers Institute, the end result of the institute’s proveninternational experience as well as its critical and independent methodology.Nine macro areas have been identified in the certification process to evaluatecompany human resource quality levels: talent management, planning, on-boardingof new employees, performance management, career opportunities, companyculture, learning and development, compensation and benefits in addition toleadership development.
Only the companiesthat pass all certification process steps and that meet the severe compulsorystandards are authorised to use the title and the Top Employers certificationtrademark, for a period of one year.
Again this year theTop Employers Institute has recognised the absolute excellence of CostaCruises, thanks to its personnel management strategies as well as continuousimprovement in training and development policies at all company levels.
Costa Cruises isrecognised for its young and international staff coming from 70 differentcountries and consisting of more than 19,000 employees, including more than17,500 working on 15 ships in service and about 1,500 operating in shore-basedoffices.
It is since 1991 thatthe Top Employers Institute (headquartered in Holland and previously known asthe CRF Institute) has been issuing Top Employers certifications around theglobe to acknowledge the excellence of company employee work conditions.
