Freeport Bahamas Adventures Ltd. Named Carnival Cruise Line's 'Tour Operator of the Year'
MIAMI (March 9, 2016) –Freeport Bahamas Adventures Ltd. – which each year provides thousands ofCarnival Cruise Line guests with memorable and exciting landside experiences inFreeport, The Bahamas – has been named the cruise line’s “Tour Operator of theYear.” <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
Freeport BahamasAdventures Ltd. was selected from hundreds of tour operators that work intandem with Carnival to offer guests unforgettable offerings ashore throughoutthe Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, Canada and the U.S.
Dozens of touroperators in select ports were also recognized with Carnival’s Leading TourOperator Award. Additionally, eight shore excursion operators wererecognized for excellence with Carnival’s first-ever Most Innovative TourAwards. This elite group was acknowledged for consistently developing andconceptualizing excursions that showcase the unique attributes of theirparticular destination.
All of these awards arebased on nominations by shoreside tour operations personnel in the company’sMiami headquarters and shore excursion managers on board Carnival’s ships, aswell as guest ratings and feedback. Tour operators are evaluated oninnovation, creativity, quality, professionalism, communication and overallguest reviews.
