Carnival Corporation & plc Announces Exchange Rate for Quarterly Dividend

MIAMI, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On October 17, 2007, CarnivalCorporation & plc (NYSE: CCL; LSE)(NYSE: CUK) announced a quarterly cashdividend of $0.40 per share. The dividend is payable on December 14, 2007, toshareholders of record on November 23, 2007.

Holders of Carnival Corporation common stock or Carnival plc ADSs willreceive a dividend payable in U.S. dollars. The dividend for Carnival plcordinary shares will be payable in sterling unless shareholders elected toreceive the dividend in U.S. dollars by November 23, 2007.Dividends payable in sterling will be converted from U.S. dollars at theexchange rate quoted by the Bank of England in London at 12 noon on December3, 2007 (US$1 = 48.45431 pence). Accordingly, the dividend payable in sterlingon December 14, 2007, will be 19.38172 pence per share.
