Costa Cruises Awarded For “Best Mediterranean Itineraries” By Porthole Readers

Genoa, November 10, 2016 – Costa Cruises has received top honors in the18th edition of Porthole Cruise Magazine's Readers Choice Awards, earning thetitle of "Best Mediterranean Itineraries" for the 17th consecutive year.

Porthole Cruise Magazine is oneof the most distinguished US cruise magazine, featuring editorials, photography,ship reviews and many information and curiosities on itineraries, excursionsand life onboard. Depending on thousands of the publication's readers and onlinefans' votes, the "Porthole Cruise Magazine's Readers' Choice Awards" reward,each year, the best cruise lines in 54 categories.

For summer 2017 Costa Cruises already launched two new one-week itineraries: Costa neoClassica will sail on to discover the finest Greek islands; Costa neoRiviera will head for the beaches of Sardinia, Balearic Islands and Spain.

Costa neoClassica, running fromMay 13 through September 30, 2017, will depart every Saturday from Bari tovisit Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Santorini, with a long port call untilmidnight, and Mykonos, where the ship will stay overnight to make the most ofthe beaches and the local nightlife.

Costa neoRiviera will be inSavona every Sunday from June 4 to September 24, 2017, to head for some of themost popular beach destinations in the Western Mediterranean. This cruise will port in a different placeeach day: Porto Torres, the marvelous Balearic Islands, with stopovers inMinorca, Ibiza – where the ship will stay overnight - and Palma de Mallorca; beforereturning to Savona, neoRiviera will stop in Tarragona/Barcelona, with anotherlong stopover.
