AIDA and Bild am Sonntag seek godparent family for AIDAnova
AIDA Cruises and the Bild am Sonntag newspaper have joined forces to find a ‘godparent family' as for the new ship, AIDAnova. Devoted AIDA fans, as well as families who have long dreamed of taking a cruise vacation, are encouraged to apply.
The new ship in the AIDA fleet will be christened on August 31, 2018, at a dazzling event at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg. The AIDA Open Air with a spectacular christening show and a live concert by star DJ David Guetta is one of the biggest events in northern Germany.
Families consisting of two to at most five people can apply. Apart from taking over the role of godparents, the christening family will win a seven-day cruise aboard AIDAnova. Applications can be made from Sunday, July 15, 2018, until Sunday, July 22, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. All entry details are available in the Bild am Sonntag and at https://on.bild.de/Tauffamilie. A panel of judges will pick the lucky winning family who will christen AIDAnova on August 31, 2018.
AIDAnova is a real paradise for families. While the kids can clamber around the tree-tops in the ropes course and race around on the giant water slides over three decks, their parents can enjoy the laid-back feel of the Caribbean, relaxing beneath palm trees in the Beach Club next door. There's also plenty of fun to be had at the water playground and the large mini-golf course. The whole family can enjoy a meal together at the Fuego family restaurant which offers a kids' buffet and a baby bistro. Landside, AIDA offers family-friends excursions, and even excursions specifically for teenagers. In terms of accommodation, the Deluxe Veranda staterooms, available for the first time, ensure that families have plenty of space.
