Survivor Juliet Disparte gives inspiring speech to attendees

America Line hosted a fundraiser luncheon and survivor celebration for the
Puget Sound affiliate of Susan G. Komen Puget Sound on Saturday, Sept. 10,
2016, onboard ms Westerdam at the Port of Seattle. Breast cancer
survivor Juliet Disparte gave an inspiring speech about her journey from her
diagnosis at the age of 27 to her current role in numerous cancer

speaker Juliet Disparte was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 at the age of
27. Since her diagnosis, Disparte has been named an Education Ambassador with
Bright Pink, joined the Stakeholder Advisory Board for Young Women with Breast
Cancer at The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and also
is an active volunteer with Komen Puget Sound.
