Carnival Cruise Line Rings In Holiday Season With $10,000 In Free Gift Cards For Travel Agents

100 Agents Will Win a $100 Gift Card as Part of ‘Adolfo’s Facebook Page Holiday Giveaway’

MIAMI (December 4, 2015) – Carnival is showing its appreciation for travel agents this holiday season by giving away $10,000 in gift cards as part of “Adolfo’s Facebook Page Holiday Giveaway” contest, which runs from December 4-11, 2015.

To be eligible for the contest, travel agents simply cite their wish for the cruise industry for 2016 on the Facebook page of Vice President of Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez, which can be found at www.facebook.com/CarnivalTrade.  One hundred travel agents will be selected to win a $100 gift card.

“We wanted to show travel agents how much we appreciate all they’ve done this year by rewarding them with $10,000 in gift cards on our new travel agent Facebook page,” said Perez. “This contest is part of our overall ‘Onboard With You’ trade support platform and is just one more way we’re showing our support to agents.”

Entrants in the giveaway must be registered travel agents with GoCCL.com, the line’s travel agent Internet portal.  To enter the contest, agents can visit www.facebook.com/CarnivalTrade, “like” the page if they have not already done so and write a brief comment on their wish for the cruise industry in the coming year.  Submissions will be judged on insight and originality.

Winners’ names will be posted each business day during the contest period on Carnival’s travel agent Facebook page. Winners will be asked to contact Carnival within 48 hours to claim their prize. One gift card will be awarded per winner.
