Travel Agents Can ‘Cruise, Explore & So Much More’ With Carnival’s New Wave Season Sweepstakes
Agents Can Win One of Three ‘Homeport Getaway’ Cruise/Land Vacation Grand Prizes As Well as One of 600 Additional ‘Instant Win’ Prizes<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
MIAMI (January 4, 2016) -- Carnival is offering travel agents an opportunity to win one of three “Homeport Getaway” cruise/land vacation grand prize packages, as well as 600 additional “instant win” prizes, as part of its “Cruise, Explore & So Much More” Wave Season sweepstakes, which begins today and runs through Feb. 12.
“We wanted to kick off the new year by providing travel agents the opportunity to win a trip that combines a chance to explore our most popular homeport cities with all the fun and excitement of a Carnival cruise,” said Carnival’s Vice President - Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez. “And since Wave Season is such a busy time of the year for our valued partners, we added some fun daily 'instant win’ prize opportunities, as well."
With the sweepstakes, travel agents can win one of three cruise/land vacation grand prizes from their choice of the following three homeports: Miami, Los Angeles (Long Beach), and New Orleans. The prize includes roundtrip airfare for two, a two-night hotel stay, $1,000 in spending money and balcony accommodations on a three- to eight-day cruise departing from the associated homeport. Participants can also win one of 600 “instant prizes” which include an invitation to the U.S. debut of the Carnival Vista in New York in November 2016, Visa gift cards, and various Carnival logo items and branded merchandise.
To participate in the giveaway, travel agents simply visit the line’s travel agent Internet portal, GoCCL.com, and enter each FIT booking they make during the sweepstakes period. With each valid booking, agents are entered into a drawing for one of the three grand prizes which will be announced on or around Feb. 19, 2016. Each booking also qualifies agents to participate in an interactive scratch-off game where they may win one of the 600 “instant win” prizes.
